Research Projects Description

CRC 1270 ELAINE: Electrically Active Implants
Project A02 (Work Package A02-1.2): Expanding models for cartilage mechanics and electrical stimulation
The objective of this project is to contribute to the conception of an electro-stimulative implant system for the regeneration of articular cartilage. Project C02 provides the in vitro validation experiments while numerical multiphysics models are covered in this work package.
